I have installed NSP trial system 7.31 in a virtual computer (IP is 192.168.178.27). There I locally may connect to the SAP system by just calling http://localhost:8050/sap/bc/nwbc/?sap-client=001 in Internet Explorer.
But when I try to connect remotely from the Hyper-V server system by using http://w2s1m64.gmdv.de:8050/sap/bc/nwbc/?sap-client=001 (wtih "192.168.178.27 w2s1m64.gmdv.de" in hosts-file) or replacing the beginning with the ip address of the SAP system, the connection fails (page not found).
I was told to set up IIS in the SAP system server and bind port 8050 to it, but that did not improve anything. I guess, IIS will not be needed (the local call in the virtuel computer connects fine without IIS).
What will cause my connecting to the trial SAP system to fail, and how may I overcome this handicap?
