Hi SCN, does anyone know if it is possible to control how the SAPGUI toolbar buttons and the standard menu path display in NWBC?
I'm really hoping someone can educate me on any options via registry settings etc. to make the SAPGUI display these the same inside NWBC as it does outside.
The reason....
We're trying hard to migrate to NWBC to enjoy WDA etc. but the "feature" of compressing the SAPGUI's menu path into a button with a context menu and combining the standard GUI buttons with the individual program buttons into a single row with less available space is restrictive and very unpopular.
Our pilot users are complaining that basic GUI features have moved, they're now more difficult to get to and all our training documents have become less clear.
I regularly have to defend SAP on our user's UI issues but on this I agree, it's not better. Also as a developer I'm frustrated that's all my efforts to provide a powerful UI via easy access buttons and a feature rich menu path get lost off screen.
I would love to hear the thoughts of the SAP NWBC team, especially if this switch is not available and it if could be added.
